MINUTES OF MEETING OF SUPERINTENDING ENGINEERS, AND ABOVE UNDER PHED ON THE 22th JULY, 2013 (MONDAY) AT 3:00 PM IN THE OFFICE CHAMBER OF ENGINEER-IN-CHIEF: PHED.

Member Present:

                        The meeting was chaired by Er. R. Lalfanliana, Engineer-in-Chief, PHED and the following resolutions were made:

  1. Handing over of O & M of Rural Water Supply to Village WATSAN Committee and MDI Format.

            It was decided to trace out the previous Notifications in this regard. If the existing Notifications can be used for filling up of MDI format, the same is to be used for the time being. However, if the existing Notifications are not convenient to be used, a new proposal will be made to the Government immediately.  Er. H.C. Lalnunzira, SE (P&W) and Er. H. Duhkima, SE (M) are entrusted to do the needful.

    2.    Purchase of Water Meter Testing Machine and Cement Cube Testing Machine.        

            It was decided to purchase Water Meter Testing Machine and Cement Cube Testing Machine as early as possible. Superintending Engineer, PHED, Aizawl WATSAN Circle and Executive Engineer, PHED, Aizawl Water Distribution Division are requested to submit the proposal for Water Meter Testing Machine with the required documents. Er. Lalhmachhuana, SE (S&S) is also requested to collect the required information and submit the proposal for purchase of Cement Cube Testing machine.

                                                        

 

3.    Co-operation in connection with supply and installation of 20000 Nos. Domestic and 85 Nos. Flow Water Meters by SIPMIU.

            It was decided to render all possible co-operations in connection with supply and installation of Water Meters and Flow Meters as requested by Project Director, SIPMIU. Chief Engineer, PHED and Superintending Engineer, PHED concerned are requested to do the needful.
